Prior to this John had 3 years as a small business owner involving work with ACTIV industries and 15 years in the building industry in Australia and the U.K.

Community Services Manager / 2IC- Valerie Gillian
Responsible for
· Management of the Alternatives to Employment Program which includes Post School Options, Volunteer Instep and Seniors Enjoying Life programs.
· Operational Support to staff, clients and families.
· Corporate reporting to funding bodies, CEO and other stakeholders.
Valerie has been employed with SMP for almost 5 years and has been working in the disability sector for 9 years. Prior to working in the disability sector Val was a senior manager for an International Retail Company. She has lived in Western Australia for 15 years with her husband and 3 children .
Corporate Services Manager - Bob Draper
Responsible for
· Financial Management including budgeting and financial reporting.
· Day to day accounting.
· Administrative support.
· Information technology.
· Asset management including fleet of motor vehicles.
· Corporate reporting to ATO, funding bodies, board and members.
Before joining SMP Bob operated his own accounting practice in Melville prior to that he was the CEO of The Motor Trade Association of WA. He and his wife Sandy live in Palmyra.
