Jobseekers

SMP works with all job seekers, regardless of the extent or severity of the disability.
 
This means looking outside the square - creating employment - "Designer jobs" that match the ability and interests of the individual.
 
On-the-job training to meet the requirements of the employer is provided by SMP Coordinators. Assistance can be given to access other training opportunities. All training is based in community settings such as in the Workplace or TAFE.
 
We will assist clients to learn their job and to develop skills to ensure that work is completed to the required standard. Continuing support and training will assist the client to maintain employment and acquire additional skills.
